Let Property Campaign

Are you a residential property landlord with undisclosed taxes?
Do you have undisclosed rental income?

What is Let Property Campaign?

The Let Property Campaign is an opportunity from HMRC for landlords who owe tax through letting out residential property, in the UK or abroad, to get up to date with their tax affairs in a simple way and take advantage of the best possible terms.

If you’re a landlord and you have undisclosed income, you must tell HMRC about any unpaid tax now. You’ll then have 90 days to work out and pay what you owe.

HMRC estimate that less than 500,000 individuals report income that they receive through rent for a second property in their tax return, yet there are almost 1.5 million landlords of residential properties.

Let Property Campaign is open to all residential property landlords with undisclosed taxes, including

  • Landlord with multiple properties
  • Landlords with single rentals
  • Owners & Landlords of holiday lettings
